Our mission

Africa Pathway Ventures exists to develop the next generation of business leaders and expand financial freedom through innovation and entrepreneurship across sub-Saharan Africa. We combine disciplined debt capital with founder skills and governance support so that early-stage ventures can test, learn, and scale. About the founder

Ethan Kramer, Founder

Ethan is a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where he works with some of the world's largest companies and has helped clients design and execute major corporate investments and strategies.

Before beginning his professional career, he spent two years living in East Africa, serving alongside local communities. That experience reshaped his perspective. He saw firsthand the disconnect between talent and opportunity: highly capable, driven individuals with limited access to capital, networks, and formal employment.

That gap left a lasting impression. It clarified a long-term commitment: to help expand access to economic opportunity for people who have the talent but lack the platform.

He founded Africa Pathway Ventures to act on that commitment. The organization supports entrepreneurs and job creators across sub-Saharan Africa by helping them access the resources, capabilities, and pathways needed to build sustainable businesses. The objective is straightforward: develop the next generation of business leaders and expand financial freedom through innovation and entrepreneurship across sub-Saharan Africa.
